Nesting

The feeling of nesting has been hitting me more and more lately. Now that Marie and I have organized and rearranged her house I am left wanting to do more. I can't wait to be able to do up my own home soon. So while I am feeling this way and not being able to apply it anywhere at present, I found some inspirational pictures of chandeliers. The little place that we are getting (Lord willing everything goes through) has a beautiful chandelier in the dinning area. I am so excited to see it in person. Its not as grand as the ones in these pictures, but it is very nice. Benjamin has sent me a few pictures of our little place and I am trying to arrange in my mind where all of our furniture will go. Once we are all settled in our new place, which may be awhile yet, I will post pictures! And to help satisfy myself I am nesting over these inspiring ones! :)

Oh how lovely, dear Elizabeth! The pictures are so bright and airy. I know the feeling of eagerness to set up your home in the way you wish-- I have been thinking a lot about my future home lately! :) You have been on my mind a lot this week as I know your due date is getting very near. You are in my prayers. Is your mom there with you this week?

Also, where did you get your header picture, and the picture to the right of this entry with the girl quiling? Oh, and one last thing (I should have just emailed you instead of loading you up with blog comments!), where were you and Marie finding the letters between John & Abigail Adams?

Hello Meredith! You can load me up with blog comments all you like! I love it! :)

You are so kind to be thinking of me this week. Yes, my mom is coming in today actually! I am so excited!

I found all the pictures on my blog by searching on the web/images with specific words like silhouettes, or Audrey Hepburn, vintage women and so on, I just keep looking until I find one I like! If the images are too modern I will add vintage or shabby chic. I hope that all makes sense. If not let me know! :)

You can find the Adams letters at this address

If this doesn't load properly I will e-mail it to you sweet Meredith!

I can imagine that you have been thinking of your future house! I told Benjamin that he and I are planning a visit to England some time next year! He was is in full agreement! :P

Wow! your itty bitty will be making his/her debut any time now! So exciting!! I'm glad you'll be surrounded by those you love.Maybe you'll be able to Skype with Benjamin so he can "be there" too. We did that for our daughtr and my husband.I really like the open, airy look in the pictures. It seems so relaxing and free.
