Here are some pictures of our relaxed evening together the other night. I enjoy it so much when Benjamin cooks! While he was busy cooking, I got to play with the camera!
I am still trying to figure this camera out. At night pictures tend to be more fuzzy. I am forcing myself to learn how to use it without using the automatic setting as well as the flash.
So here are some of the good photos that I got! Some are better then others ;P
He wanted to be out there helping and watching!

It was hard for him to take his eyes off of daddy.
Look at those delightful chunky legs!
This is a normal pose of Winston. He is always hanging out with the cats and playing with the blanket.
A simple meal of asparagus, steak and potatoes.
My picture of the potatoes was pretty fuzzy, so that is why you don't see them, but they were so yummy!
Winston playing with celery for the first time.
He loved it, but I had to take it away from him after he started taking bites out of it. He is still figuring out solids and can't get passed the swallowing part. I hope he will be ready to dig into his birthday cake in few weeks!

A happy and blessed Monday to all of you!

Psalm 23
1 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters,
He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely Your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

What a sweet little boy! I love "chunky" legs. They're the cutest. What kind of camera do you have? I'm still trying to figure ours out, too. There's SO much to learn with photography, but oh man it's so much fun!

I had to smile at the chunky thighs!

I don't remember if I answered when you asked how old Alasdair is but he is 18 months. He was the same as Winston when it came to solids, he wouldn't swallow lumps until the day of his first birthday when he got hold of one of his brother's soft sweet roll and started taking bites out of it!

After that there was no stopping him!

I'm still nursing him too.

Natalie thank you! I love chunky legs too :P Our camera is an Olympus E-300 that we traded on craigslist for. It came without the manual lol! So I have been getting tips from my sister and brother over the phone :P But yes, they are so much fun!

Kirsteen, okay so the boys are only about eight months apart! I love hearing about your boys. So cute that Alasdair started eating solids on his first birthday! So cute!

Thats great that you are still nursing him! I'm gonna try to do the same :) I think it will be hard when the day comes to start weaning him off. Maybe harder for me then him :P

Elizabeth, I just ate up this post. We all read it, me, mom and Jon as we ate dinner. We had it up on the big flat screen tv and it was so funny seeing those yummy chunky legs of Winston's on the big screen like that LOL!! SO cozy seeing Benjamin cooking on his grill.

We love you guys so much!

The dinner looks so yummy, its funny how much the men love their grills, Mario would be grilling all of our dinners if he could!

Oh my word, I love thighs on a baby, almost as much as I love feet! I love the fire on the back patio, there is nothing better than the smell of an open fire. It looks so nice there. I can really sense the peace and joy you have at home. We miss you!

Now that is a chunk! I can't believe all those rolls-- you mentioned solely breastfeeding. Does this mean no baby food also? Well, obviously he isn't starving! Unfortunately, I have more rolls than Asher does. Can't get him to eat much more than crackers. Tho he actually does like celery. Celery is a tricky one as it is so fibrous/stringy-- I learned to like it at age 29 :)

Tell Uncle Benny that steak looks delicious. He can make that for me when we come and visit.

I'm so far behind with your posts, Elizabeth.
Oh my, the legs....the legs! How adorable are they?! I would eat them. Really and truly, he'd get no peace if I got my hands on him !! ;)
Hope you enjoyed your gorgeous steaks.... how lovely to have hubby cook for you. Dreams!
