His Day

Our Father's Day was spent enjoying the St. Augustine beach. A little sun and fresh cool water did my heart well. I think Benjamin enjoyed his day too :P

He works so hard at home and of course at work that it was nice to let his brain just have a break. It was a perfect day to be at the beach. Hot, humid and just a bit of a breeze in the air.

I am so thankful for Benjamin and the father he is. Its been wonderful to see him as a dad. He has always had to be responsible. I should say I have always seen him responsible. He looked after his younger siblings for many years when their mom passed away. And he was the big brother in their life. But this is so different. This is a blessing to him. And in all the good ways. It is also making him a better man.

The Lord's blessing him with a child is a gift and a joy.
I praise the Lord for my Benjamin and who he is and what he means to us.  He is our hero.....

Children's children are the crown of old men;
and the glory of children are their fathers."
-Proverbs 17:6

Missy miss, I think you are so great!
And I LOVE it that you call him Your Benjamin. Why did people use that YEARS ago as a term of endearment and now it's not??? I love my David, and I'm so grateful that God brought you a wonderful man to love an honor too!
