Three Months

My little Winnie......

I cannot believe Winston is three months already and we are trying to hold on to every second of it!

 He has grown so fast and when I look back at the pictures of when he was born, I can see how much he really has grown. He has found that sucking on his hand is very soothing and entertaining! He still loves to stare and smile at the fans. And his new thing recently is raising one of his arms high and keeping his fist tight while he studies it :P
 So cute!

Psalm 7:17
 I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness
       and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.

Touch Up

When my sister Marie was visiting a couple of weeks ago we both wanted to get out because we had been sick for several days straight. We decided to go and look at my Hobby Lobby and enjoy all the beautiful house decorations and see if there were any sales.
It was refreshing to get out of the house and enjoy Hobby Lobby together lol :)

  While we were there I found a real pretty material that was on sale, Marie and I thought hard on what we could use it for. We both remembered my nice hope chest that I got from my parents when I was a teenager. Its packed with fondness and memories. But the material on top doesn't quite go with anything in my home and also has a little hole that has been driving me crazy :)

All this to say, Marie and I raced home and recovered my lovely hope chest :) I also used the left over material to cover a small little chair that has a cloth covering over the seat. Which I forgot to take a picture of! :P

~Out with the old and on with the new!

~We unscrewed the seat

~Then covered the seat with my new material and stapled it in place

~Made sure the material was tightly stapled

~ And screwed the seat cover back on

This was so fast and easy. We spent most of our time unscrewing and screwing!

A First

We went for the first time this weekend to beautiful Daytona and enjoyed the refreshing water, waves and sand. We found a perfect location to beach at in a very private, peaceful area and hardly populated. It was heavenly! We plan on making many future trips to the oceanside, with a picnic basket, umbrella, book and of course a new swim suite that I look nice in! ( I'll have to keep working on losing the extra pregnancy pounds) :P

~The day was a little chilly because of a strong sea breeze.
And today the beautiful storm blew in and started pelting down rain during church :)

~I tried desperately to take several pictures without my shaggy bangs in my face :P

~Inseparable

~Winston enjoying the ocean water for the first time

Beach going takes a little practice for me. But its for sure something I love practicing!!

Bay Episode :)

Well its been quite a while since I have done an episode about this big ol cat! Isn't he huge? When my neighbor came over last week, she couldn't get over him :P He walked right over to her and welcomed her by putting out his paw! He is like a person! He is so smart :) And my little Tonia has blossomed ever since we have done so much traveling she has quite a little personality now. She still behaves very well in the car :) And she loves little baby and is very respectful, they both are very respectful of our little Winnie. They love to come and stare :)

Picnicking and Praising

I am having so much fun playing with photos on this Picnik website that my mom told me about. As you can see I have been doing several collages. :P

Winston is now 2 1/2 months! And he is starting to get nice chubby cheeks! I am so glad because I have always wanted a baby with chubby cheeks! He has been smiling all the time! And this week we have heard some belly laughs :P
I have waited for a long time to feel what it was like to have a child and now that I have one, the feeling is an emotional one for me. Its overwhelming my love for him.
We like to listen to the Bible at night as we sleep and its especially nice for me when I wake up in the middle of the night to nurse. I was listening to Hannah when she praises the Lord for her son Samuel her words are beautiful and so true.
All this to say, I am so thankful to the Lord for his goodness and love in my life. Its overwhelming......

Hannah's Prayer

1 Then Hannah prayed and said:
       "My heart rejoices in the LORD;
       in the LORD my horn is lifted high.
       My mouth boasts over my enemies,
       for I delight in your deliverance.
2 "There is no one holy like the LORD;
       there is no one besides you;
       there is no Rock like our God.
 3 "Do not keep talking so proudly
       or let your mouth speak such arrogance,
       for the LORD is a God who knows,
       and by him deeds are weighed.
 4 "The bows of the warriors are broken,
       but those who stumbled are armed with strength.
 5 Those who were full hire themselves out for food,
       but those who were hungry hunger no more.
       She who was barren has borne seven children,
       but she who has had many sons pines away.
 6 "The LORD brings death and makes alive;
       he brings down to the grave and raises up.
7 The LORD sends poverty and wealth;
       he humbles and he exalts.
 8 He raises the poor from the dust
       and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
       he seats them with princes
       and has them inherit a throne of honor.
       "For the foundations of the earth are the LORD's;
       upon them he has set the world.
 9 He will guard the feet of his saints,
       but the wicked will be silenced in darkness.
       "It is not by strength that one prevails;
10 those who oppose the LORD will be shattered.
       He will thunder against them from heaven;
       the LORD will judge the ends of the earth.
       "He will give strength to his king
       and exalt the horn of his anointed."

Have a very happy weekend everyone :)

Meeting Our Neighbors

Today I had over my friendly neighbor for a bit of tea and a scone. We had a very nice time and she just loved holding the baby. I found out she is Jewish and it was so interesting talking to her and hearing about her life. I am so blessed to have a friend living right next door :)
 We also have a neighbor two doors down who has the most gorgeous yard, she has inspired me to plant some flowers in our front yard. When we first moved in she welcomed us so warmly and I haven't forgotten, so today I made scones for both my neighbors :P I am so thankful to have friends in our new town.

Mommy and Baby Photo Shoot

Here are some lovely pictures Marie took of baby and me. She said it was her one mission while she was visiting. I told her it wasn't a big deal, but she insisted that baby must have a baby shoot! I am so glad she insisted! I have a bunch others to post as well, but I thought I would stretch it out a bit ;P a few here and a few there!

Happy Friday everyone!

Cousin Time

Today was a lot of bustling to get Marie and Zane ready for their departure. We did manage to have a cup of tea to help soothe Marie before her plane ride with her little teether. :)
We are missing them so much right now. Benjamin and I arrived home with the feeling that our balloon had popped. We have begun to plan out next get together lol!

I am excited to start my routine. I am attempting to start a running schedule in the morning after Benjamin has left for work. Its really nice to have Winston as my companion while I'm running. He usually just stares at me until he falls asleep! :)

We have found a really nice church here. We missed our Easter Sunday service due to our frustrating sickness. It sure feels good to feel good again LOL! :) And I am excited to go this Sunday!

 Now laundry, organizing paper work and many other projects, here I come! Luckily the weekend is almost here again and I will have my Benjamin!

God's greatness and goodness is so abundant and I can't help express my love for Him!

Much love to all of you, my sisters in Christ!

1 Keep me safe, O God,
for in you I take refuge.
 2 I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord;
       apart from you I have no good thing."
 3 As for the saints who are in the land,
       they are the glorious ones in whom is all my delight.
 4 The sorrows of those will increase
       who run after other gods.
       I will not pour out their libations of blood
       or take up their names on my lips.
 5 LORD, you have assigned me my portion and my cup;
       you have made my lot secure.
 6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
       surely I have a delightful inheritance.
 7 I will praise the LORD, who counsels me;
       even at night my heart instructs me.
 8 I have set the LORD always before me.
       Because he is at my right hand,
       I will not be shaken.
 9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
       my body also will rest secure,
 10 because you will not abandon me to the grave,
       nor will you let your Holy One see decay.
             11 You have made known to me the path of life;
       you will fill me with joy in your presence,
       with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

House Pics Part 2

~Front Door

~Entryway

~Kitchen, its a little messy sorry! I wish I had gotten a better picture!

~Back patio. You can't see the water in this picture. Sorry! Its right behind our fence. If you look through the holes of the fence you can kinda see it! :P

~Master Bedroom

The house is so lovely. I didn't post any pictures of the second bedroom due to our company, and I don't have it quite to my satisfaction right now anyway. So that was convenient ;P!
Our back patio overlooks a small lake. I didn't post the water, because it is looking on the murky green side through the camera lol! Its fun to look at the ducks, geese and turtles when out there. The cats especially love to be outside observing the water.

Today is my last day with Marie and Zane. (Jon left last week). Its gonna be sad letting them go! They helped me with settling into my home in such a lovely way. We had a wonderful Easter and took some fun pictures. Benjamin had Monday off and made our weekend even better.

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter!

House Pictures Part 1

~A cool angle from the mirror

~Looking down from the stairs

~Our little living room/dining room

~A view into the kitchen

~Our lovely little half bath

~Front entry. Garage entrance on the left.

~Two little cuties!

Here are a few pictures! Whew! I did it, thanks to my sister Marie! :) Part 2 is coming soon, hopefully tomorrow. We shall see :) Our home is a two bedroom two and a half bath. I think Benjamin did such a fine job picking it! I couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw it a couple of weeks ago. The wall color is a bit different for me, at least its not an UGLY shade! :) Tile floors downstairs and carpet on the second floor. The second floor needs fresh paint on the walls real bad. But we have really high ceilings so we will have to debate about the best method.

Second floor, kitchen and outside coming soon!
